Board of Directors

WIFM board members are elected by the membership to serve 2-year terms. Board members must be professional women facility managers with at least 5 years experience in the facilities management field.  The board meets a minimum of monthly via teleconference and has two face to face meetings annually. Per the bylaws, Board seats are a two year commitment, with half the board rotating each election cycle.

Maria O’Callaghan-Cassidy is a proactive and strategic leader with 20+ years of operations, facilities and planning experience. Maria recently joined the University of Richmond community as the Senior Associate Vice President of Campus Operations and will oversee campus business services, dining services, events, facilities and design and construction. Maria holds a Masters in Science from the University of Pennsylvania and is a frequent guest speaker for operational innovation and sustainability.

Jessica Bickel has spent the past ten years working in Facilities Management; her recent career has been focused on sustaining site operations through multiple divestiture activities including concurrent construction projects. She has an FMP, Associate’s Degree in Facilities Management and is currently working on a Bachelor’s from the University of North Texas. She currently serves as the secretary of the National Board of Directors for WIFM.

Janna Luther Connor, CFM, has over 32 years of experience within the Facilities Management
realm, with specialties in project management, space and move management, tenant
management, and most currently data center management. Janna’s career started out within
the design/construction/architecture fields with a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University.
She currently manages enterprise and colo Data Centers and Control Rooms at HCSC / Blue
Cross Blue Shield.

La Shawn Harrison is an Award-Winning Facilities Management professional with 24+ years experience helping global companies effectively manage, design, and develop workspaces. La Shawn thrives in diversity and desires to introduce emerging professionals to the various aspects of the industry. The importance of mentorship drives her in connecting with new people, exchanging ideas, and researching new technology. Outside of work, La Shawn enjoys travel, philanthropy, and teaching English as a Second Language.

Thomas Holland, a Texas Tech graduate, brings over twenty two years of experience in the commercial flooring industry as CEO and founder of Corporate Floors Inc, APEX Surface Care  and Texas Carpet Recycling.
Thomas is the Board Advisor and Founder of WIFM, Past President of the Dallas/Ft Worth Chapter of the International Facility Managers Association, and past board member of the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE). He has been a panel speaker at countless CEU courses about carpet recycling, flooring maintenance and installation methods to the local design and construction community.  An advocate for education, he has helped moderate sessions for IIDA, BOMA, USGBC and IFMA.

Alana Dunoff

Alana F. Dunoff ProFM, FMP, IFMA Fellow, has nearly 30 years’ experience in strategic facility planning and project management in the corporate commercial, healthcare, and retail industries. She has over 18 years as an FM educator and adjunct professor and currently teaches in the Facility Management Bachelor of Science Program at Temple University. She is a qualified instructor for the IFMA FMP and ProFM. Alana was the first woman to earn her ProFM certification. Alana has been speaking and presenting at FM industry conferences, seminars and webinars for decades; sharing her passion and perspective of FM with anyone willing to listen. Alana earned her B.S. in Psychology from Boston University and her M.S. in Facility Planning & Management from Cornell University.
