In 2018 over 95 professional women FM's from across the country participated in our 2nd national luncheon.  This year in Phoenix we are raising the bar with an incredible speaker and topics of interest throughout the session. Those WIFM members and prospective members from around the nation who register will enjoy a  dynamic luncheon program on Wed., Oct. 16th, from 12-2pm during World Workplace at the beautiful Children's Musuem of Phoenix, just a five-minute walk from the Phoenix Convention Center.

During lunch, we are excited to have Special Guest Speaker, Meredith Thatcher, CFM, IFMA Fellow, LEED® AP, Prosci®. She will address WIFM attendees on Women in Leadership.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Meredith Thatcher is a dynamic workplace strategist and change management consultant. As a serial entrepreneur, she is the leader of a small and mighty workplace strategy consulting firm, Thatcher Workplace Consulting, based in Ottawa, Canada; and she is the co-founder of Agile Work Evolutions (AWE), a tech startup providing agile work solutions including full mobility programs for organizations as well as workplace strategy and change management. Meredith is a Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), LEED® Accredited Professional and in 2005 she was named a Fellow of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) for outstanding contribution and service to the Association. In 2013 she earned her Prosci Change Management credential. She is an IFMA qualified instructor, a current member of the IFMA International Credentials Commission, was a member of the International Board of Directors (2005-2008) and is a past Chair of the IFMA Audit Committee.

Meredith understands the need for modern-day workplaces to be innovative, agile, sustainable and dynamic. For more than 35 years, Meredith has facilitated hundreds of workplace transformation successes across North America—the US Army, DND, American Association of Medical Colleges, Bank of Canada, Business Development Bank, Mitel, Calian, You.i TV, Canadian Medical Protective Association, MD Financial, Canadian Medical Association, Los Alamos National Laboratory, AECL, and Mohawk Council of Akwesasne to name a few – engaging executives to create their vision for their workplace and community.

Meredith collaborates with businesses and organizations to analyze, envision and plan for the future of the workplace—all while preparing employees to adapt and thrive within it. ABOUT THE VENUE

One of the top three children's museums in the nation, the Children's Museum of Phoenix is a wondroud place of imagination, inspiration, creativity and just plane fun.  Designed for children ages birth to 10, the facility encompasses over 48,000 square feet of space and offers over 300 play experiences spread through three floors of the historic Monroe School Building.
